HOW TO CHECK FOR REO COMPLIANCE
WHY IT’S IMPORTANT:
If the Steel Reinforcement does not comply with Australian Design Standards then the structure is at risk of failure. All Bar and Mesh must have JASANZ accredited 3rd Party Processor Certification to prove it complies with ASNZS 4671, AS 3600, AS 5100.5 and AS 2870.

WAS THE REO SUPPLIED BY A SRIA MEMBER?
No further action required. All SRIA members MUST hold
3rd Party Processor Certification from a JASANZ accredited organisation.
Ask the Builder to provide a JASANZ accredited 3rd Party Processor Certification
to prove the REO complies.
If the REO doesn’t comply,
it comes out.
